Subject: Refund taxpayers funds given to GC Strategies

Dear Prime Minister Carney and Members of the Liberal Party,

I am writing as a concerned Canadian to urge your government to honour the House of Commons motion passed on June 16, 2025, demanding that GC Strategies return $64 million in taxpayer funds and face a lifetime ban from government contracts. This motion, supported by the Conservative, NDP, and Bloc Québécois parties, reflects Canadians’ demand for accountability following Auditor General Karen Hogan’s findings that GC Strategies received $65 million across 106 contracts, including $19.1 million for the ArriveCan app, often without evidence of work performed.

The Liberal Party’s vote against this motion undermines public trust, especially given reports of GC Strategies’ involvement in setting contract terms and altering resumes, practices that raise serious ethical concerns. Canadians deserve transparency and responsible stewardship of public funds, not resistance to recovering misspent taxpayer money. The motion gives your government 100 days to act, and I urge you to comply promptly to restore confidence. I respectfully request that you:

  1. Recover the $64 million from GC Strategies within the 100-day timeline.

  2. Enforce the lifetime ban on GC Strategies from federal contracts.

  3. Strengthen procurement oversight to prevent future abuses.

Please honour this parliamentary mandate and prioritize accountability. I await your response.

Sincerely,
[Your Full Name]
